How to choose the Right Job Offer

Hi All,

"I have just completed my graduation and am looking for a good job offer".This is something that every fresh graduate would talk about while looking for a job.It is good to be looking for a job as it makes us financially independant and also makes us aware of the corporate scenario. But,remember that though we talk about a good job offer,we cannot look for a "perfect job offer" as that is very rare.

There is nothing negative about settling down with a not-so-perfect job offer. If you look for a "perfect job offer" you might just have to wait for a very long time. Now the point of discussion is that many a times we come across a lot of job offers and we get confused about choosing the right one. This is the common issue that most of the fresh graduates come across.

Now,how can we decide which is the right job offer-

- The first criteria that we look for is a good salary.Ultimately,we all work to earn money.

- The second criteria would be your interest in the field of work.Remember that you cannot excel in your job unless you have an interest in it.

- The third criteria is to check whether the company is giving any additional benefits to you such as medical insurance, allowances etc.

- The fourth criteria is to find out for your potential growth in the company.Review the performance of the company in the past years to find out your career prospects in the future.

- The fifth criteria would the how long are the working hours. If the working hours are flexible, are you comfortable with it.

- The sixth criteria is to review whether the current employees are enjoying working with the company.

- The seventh criteria is the work environment, the location where the office is situated, how much time will you have to spend in travelling etc.

Once you have figured out which job offer is a good one for you,its time to make the decision. For fresh graduates, making the right decision might be a little difficult. In such a case, you can take the suggestion of your family and trustworthy friends, who can give you the right suggestion.

It may so happen that you may have to choose between a good salary and job satisfaction or between good salary and career growth. The choice is all yours.Whichever you think is the right choice for you,go for it.But choose your job with a practical approach.

Choosing the Right Job is not an easy task.It involves a lot of thinking. So,think practically and choose a job offer that you think will make you happy.

Regards,
Kavita
