Boss and Employee relation

Hi All,

Most of the employees call themselves lucky to get a "Good Boss" and some say that they are unlucky to get a "Bad Boss".Now the question arises, how would you identify whether your boss is good or bad?We need to understand that nothing in this world can be classified as "good" or "bad".It all depends upon our perception towards the concerned person.

Some employees manage to have a good rapport with their bosses while others fail to do so.We need to understand that our immediate responsibility towards our workplace is our job for which we have been recruited. So instead of wasting time trying to analyse whether our boss is good or bad,we should rather place more focus on our work.

Employees come up trying to describe the personality of their bosses which are as follows:-

-Some say,my boss always takes credit for the accomplishments.

- Some say,my boss always places personal issues at the workplace making it difficult for us to concentrate on our work.

- Some say,my boss is too afraid to take major decisions. He is more concerned about his reoutation rather than his team's needs.

- Some say,my boss always screams for no reason and thus creates panic at the workplace.

Now if you analyse all these different kinds of personalities of the bosses, you are actually wasting your time.Remember that you have got a job because of your own merits and not because of your boss's mercy.Do not forget that you have earned your job.

It is very essential that we respect our bosses because they are our seniors. But if for any reason you are unhappy with your boss,do not feel frustrated.Your motive should be your work and you need to give your best to prove your potentiality at work.Simply concentrate on your work and everything else will fall in place.

At a workplace, both personal and professional issues may arise. The reason is that we all have different personalities and perceptions. So,focus more on your work and try your best to keep away personal issues from workplace. This will keep both you and your boss at peace.

Therefore, respect your seniors and bosses. It is very essential to maintain a good professional relationship with your superior so,be productive and sincere towards your work. That is how you can build a successful career.

Regards,

Kavita
