How to Relieve Stress to live a Stress Free Life

"Stress" is nothing but the phisiological or psychological fatigue.In todays competitive world everyone is prone to stress because everyone wants to be the best.We do not have any control over the circumstances causing the stress, but we do have control over the methods for relieving them.The best way to relieve stress is to prevent it before it develops.

There are a few daily routines that you may implement to prevent stressful situations.To relieve stress you can do the following:

1) Get a good night sleep. It is recommended that you get at least 7-8 hours of sleep.

2) Pace yourself. Do not try to do too much at one time.

3) Think realistically. Do not allow your emotions to get out of control.Do not set goals for yourself that are unachievable and unrealistic.

4) Plan better. Set schedules and prioritize your tasks.Take up one task at a time and manage yor time well.

5) Take breaks. Get away from it for about 10-15 minutes.Do not work at a stretch for long hours especially if you are doing a desk job.

6) Take walks. Walking is one of the best forms of exercise.It is also the best form of relieving stress.

7) Call on your support. Ask others to do the work that you are weak in doing.

8) Confront problems by talking. Bring the problem out in the open.Do not run away from a problem,face it and solve it.

9) Delegate. Do not try to do everything yourself, but rather, seek help from others.Distribute the work.

10) Keep a positive attitude. Do not take life so seriously, laugh sometime.Another way to relieve stress is to talk to someone about your problems. It could be a family member, friend or health care professional who will give you the emotional support you need to reduce stress.

11)Keep Smiling no matter what happens because a smile is the best cure for any problem including stress.
